Bohol in Blues and Greens

The Chocolate Hills of Bohol welcome any tourist visiting the area. These are the famous hills formed by the uplift of coral deposits combined with rainwater erosion, though the locals have their own share of mythology as to how these were formed—from the debris of feuding giants, to the tears of a heartbroken giantess, even the feces of a giant carabao! During the dry season, the hills swap out their verdant green for chocolate brown—and the hill at the center of this shot caught my attention, as it chose to stand out from the sea of its green brothers and sisters.
