Leaving:
Sitting at the airport and I can't shake the nervous feelings I have about the flight and being so far from home. I've travelled before, but never out of country. It's a whole new experience and it all started with a long line waiting to get my ticket and having the TSA take my shampoo, hair products, and sunscreen. Guess I never realized that carrying those would be a problem but I've learned my lesson.
But, now that I'm at my terminal waiting with my friend Lauren and roughly 40 other people I feel less lost and more excitement for my journey. Our next stop will be in New York and from there we go to Rome. I hope the Italians are ready for me!
