After 24 hours, I finally touched down in Kathmandu. The mountains were a sight to see through the plane windows, and there she was- Everest! That's when I knew I was really here! I'm staying in the Thamel district, and it's nothing like I imagined at all. Absolutely mind boggling, and that does not even cover what I'm feeling about my first impression of this magnificent country. I can't wait to get a full nights sleep and get out there and explore!
