My recent state of bulemia has made me in dire need of a belt. For all you people wanting to slim down, eat some under-cooked buffalo in Asia! One night of rigorous activity and you will be shedding the kilos!
I was very hesitant in leaving the guest house this morning for fear of further gastric problems, especially as i have to go without access to toilets for the half hour walk. Also the toilet at the office is like the set for Saw 1, just without the dead guy on the floor, so I try to avoid it even in better times.
We all had a good laugh at my misfortune. Had a bit of a buffet lunch as well, sitting on a piece of tarp in the backyard. This is unusual as normally I am the only one eating whilst they all drink tea. Im not sure why that is, but one of the staff said that most of them eat alone and out. The office has a cook, but all he seems to do is make tea or go out to buy take away!
I was restricted to my post-diarrhea diet of fried rice whilst the others feasted on momo and scrambled eggs with coke, mountain dew and beer for drinks! Guru Ama has a bit of a sweet tooth and had the courtesy to offer me some Gulab Jamins...
Amrit had found some more work for me to update - a tour brochure, mainly for day trips. He said it was their last one, so dont lose it! After a quick browse through, i noticed that in the disclaimer at the end it said that the brochure was valid until the 30th September 1992! We had another good laugh when i pointed that out to them. Prices hadn't changed much.
