Photography isn't always pretty, but it's honest. While traveling through the park, we observed animals in their natural habitat. This moose decided to pose for the camera and show us her better half as she enjoyed a dip in the river.

I'm always up for a thrill, although I might have cut it a little too close with this buffalo. With my mother screaming to get in the car and a 2,000 pound animal charging at me, I managed to capture this picture (and not get trampled to death).

At the end of the day, the simplest things can have the greatest impact. The sunlight shining over the fence shows how wondrous the park actually is. Though the fence is man-made, it keeps the natural feel of the park by using native materials. It’s the simple things in life that can make you feel right at home.
