One sleep to go!

Oh my God! Nearly there, one more sleep. No more work!!!! Went to nice Indian Restaurant tonight, the Bay Leaf in Midland. Very nice meal. I reckon we could have fed about 150 people for the same price in India!

Cracked open my 30yr bottle of port tonight. Cork fell in the bottle, but port tasted ok, not fantastic. Thought we may as well drink it, just in case we don't return.

All packed and ready to go. Got some Indian Rupee's today from Jeanette who has just returned from India, they will come in handy.

Hi to all of you. Yes we haved reached Kolkata. Arrived at 1400hrs after a 30hr train ride. Absolutely fantastic, great people /. Janet has bought a Kanchipuram sari, and a very expensive bag. The bag was $1000 , but it came with a free gold bangle. Over 1 gm in weight. You wait till you see it sharon!! Its Janets wedding aniversary present. Tomorrow look around Kolkata then 9hr overnight train to Darjeeling. Weather cool in Kolkata compared to Chennai. Love Martin and Janet. Cant send photo as no usb port in this computer. Guest house The Bodhi Tree is great have a look on internet.

Hi Martin, Robin and all, glad you have arrived safely and having a good time. Keep us posted on your adventures. I must say $1000 sounds like a great deal of money for a sari and one gold bangle....... You didnt get ripped off did you?? Have fun, Kerrie

Hi Mart, Janet and Moon Man
Hope all is well and that the Diamox hasn't been needed. Sounds like a good time being had by all. Janet, a Curry night will be needed to show off all the gold, and the sari! Perth has had entire April rainfall today - so you're not missing much. Love and hugs to you all
