    Couldn’t resist taking this abstract of a stall, yet to be set up for selling wares. (just to be clear, the ‘layers’ in the the title refer to the layers of fabric/colour in the photograph – there are no digital layers (shudder!) to be seen.) by: cms79 Views[406] Taken in the beautiful village of Asilah, (North Morocco). by: cms79 Views[740] I fell in love with this spot of the village, this was my second trip back as when I looked back at my photos of the previous day, I felt that my crop was a little too tight at the base of the frame. I feel much happier with the second attempt and luckily the light was just as good for my second visit! I could have stayed here for hours… I found Chaouen really inspiring, but I also found it extremely tricky to photograph – who knew that the colour blue could be so difficult to capture – it was hard not to make it look like as though I’d set an incorrect white balance. by: cms79 Views[366] Scattered all over the streets of Chauoen are a number of drinking fountains used to cool off from the heat of the day, or to grab water for the days activities. I stumbled over a couple of them that had a cup placed on the wall waiting to be used. Obviously left there for whoever needs to quench there thirst next. I did not move the beaker, it is exactly as found. I couldn’t resist the colour of the pink against the blue wall. by: cms79 Views[412] Admittedly the light is a little cool, but it was taken in the beautiful village of Asilah, (North Morocco) which is full of winding roads and lanes, and unfortunately the sun wasn’t peaking over the rooftops at this moment.
