    Kifufu: A lesson in humility, love and life

    The church service in Kifufu featured ceremonies, gifts, prayer and special songs by the choir. They incorporated our names into songs and sang and danced eight different songs, just for us. And because it was a special occasion, the church was filled to the brim and people were even peeking in the windows. by: cmontoy Views[284] As if the church service itself wasn't special, the women had prepared a giant feast for one and all afterward. These women are mothers, daughters, grandmothers and sisters, and at a young age they all learn to balance pots and jugs like these on their heads. It's amazing. by: cmontoy Views[160] This is Kitani, a former witch doctor. Five years ago he accepted Jesus into his heart and he's a devoted Christian now. Kitani has the most amazing testimony! by: cmontoy Views[205] These three boys peeked in at me as I got my stuff ready to leave the church after the service and meal. My godmother and I were the first Americans the kids had ever seen so they curiously followed us around, especially me as I took their pictures and then showed it to them.
