Hello inner peace
I’m daughter of immigrants; my mother gave me the flesh and the brain and my father gave me the spirit and the love.
I spent my early years traveling back and forth between Portugal and Spain seeing the world through a frame – the window of the car – which later converted me in a photography student and a traveling addict. I’ve lived in and out the rural and urban scenes, what makes me feel comfortable pretty much everywhere, from the noisiest café to the quieter mountain.
My journey to be a professional writer began when I made a six month internship in a local newspaper and after having one of my short stories for children published.
This year I'm trying to put together all of my talents in areas such as writing, music, photography, cooking, theater and others.
Right now I’m doing volunteer work around Europe using the help-x.net site where I do everything from animal training to DIY tasks. I started in Galicia, went to Asturias and ended up in France. I’m living the craziest love story I had so far and I’m about to have my voice recorded for the first time.
I’m also combining my volunteering work with busking in the cities I pass by, sharing my recent interest in fado1 singing with the pedestrians.
I can live in the moment and/or follow routines and I rarely use recipes when I’m cooking, singing or loving; I work with what I have and use all my senses to find solutions instead of problems for my life and the lives of others – a Portuguese inheritance I entirely respect right now.
