I am at the moment back in Cusco, visiting a friend... Had quite a few hilarious (but fairly disturbing!) incidents in the last few days mostly involving dodgy Cusceñan men!
The first night that I arrived here, I went out dancing by myself and had a dance and drink with a guy that I had met. I bought him one drink as a friendly gesture, then he went to the bar and ordered another 3 drinks for himself, the bartender and the DJ and then expected me to pay for them! Was so mad that I walked out and then yesterday when I was standing in the plaza chatting to some people, this random guy who I had never met, walked up to me and asked me if I had sex with that guy because he had been telling everyone that he had! So man #1 who I will castrate if I see again (which is fairly likely hehehehe).
2nd incident. Was stalked for the whole afternoon by a disgusting feral bushpig of a man... Once I thought that I had lost him I took a seat on a bench and then he appeared again. He sat next to me and started talking to me which seemed pretty harmless until he started trying to touch me. I told him politely to stop, he wouldnt listen so I told him to "fuck off", still wouldnt listen, so I slapped him really hard across the nose which made his eyes water, then he turned to me and said "you are soooo rude, but it turns me on! do it again please"... I finally managed to get him off me as he was muttering gross things such as " Can you let me into your gates of heavenly pleasure please"... What a creep but I have to say that looking back on the situation it is quite funny! Man #2 to castrate (I also know where he works hehehehehe).
Another man walked up to me as I was strolling down the street yesterday and grabbed my neck while muttering something under his breath which was strange... I have no idea what that was about.
Other news... Went rafting yesterday with my buddy and his group and english tourists which was fun... Really have been just chilling out and enjoying Cusco. Sorry guys but am seriously considering coming to live here! love it!
Well... On Sunday I am flying back to Lima to spend a few more days with my buddy and then I will be going back to go on with my travels in Bolivia... which are sadly nearly over. Life here is starting to make sense to me, I am happier and having more fun that ever...
