Slept the day away when I first arrived so the next day I was up early - naturally as i had slept for bout 16 hours all told, had breakfast and showered and looked out the window to see what to wear. Unfortunately i forgot to pack my wellies and raintrousers and umbrella - it was lashing!! Stayed lashing all day so I watched brazilian football and read my book.
Went to Copacabana beach the next day - you no the way that Bondi is very dissapointing, well this wasnt. Loads of volleyball nets strung along it - people playing football over it more skillfully than we could play using hands and all. Loads of beach huts selling drinks and massive waves and skyscrapers the other side of the street. Just as i had imagined it only I expected sun. Just a regular day today - no rain but no sun. 23° though.
