What'll we do today? Em, he replied, how about a short trip over to see that 23 metre tall statue of a sitting Buddha. Two boat trips and a long bus trip (all packed into a mere two hours) later we reached said statue - took a few snaps, got an ice cream, visited some monastery or another (actually the Po Lin monastery), and proceeded to queue for our bus to take us to our first boat which dropped us off at our second boat which was only a short walk from the hotel - where we ate and then collapsed.
One of our snaps of the seated Buddha at Ngong Ping on Lantau island - which isn't even the world's biggest - not even close in fact - is above (friendly looking fella - isn't he).
Don't know what we're doing tomorrow. Pretty sure Ruth'll be deciding.
