Very weird to be at the airport - feels like i should be going home!

Happy to leave Hanoi as I felt I had seen everything. Sad to leave Vietnam as I have really settled into the culture and the country. Definately a place to come back to in the near future.

Onto Laos now. Will blog from Luang Prabang. MAking it up as I go along now - might go to Vang Vieng for tubing then have no idea where im going in Thailand other than Chang Mai.

More adventures! Lots of love xxx

Hi Clo, great to talk on facebook for a couple of minutes and mum and dad will be pleased to know that you are safe as they keep asking me for updates on where you are etc. It was so great to see them on Monday although saying goodbye was pretty tough. I think before you dnt know what you`re missing and then we spent the whole day by the lake in the sun talking and laughing and it was after that that reay realised how much I missed them, I think I`m havin that a bit now after talking to you directly. Bit lonely here sometimes athough its brilliant just to be able to let my mind wander - it just struck me the other day that you`re going to Uni, I was like ugh wel thats poor. I mean in terms of domestication you probably would have thought that Id been ironing and washing al my stuff, well not exactly. The great thing about having Manus old room is that he comes in to change and just leaves a pile of dirty washing and when it gets about knee height he just gives it o the people in le lavage and they wash and iron everything. So thats been brilliant. I guess you heard about me being sick, I mean the irony with you eating all this stuff and Im the one seeing my lunch twice! Oh well I`m all better now, nice and tanned and I got my first bit of pay the other day - 40 euros which was my share of the tips. Last night was fun, went out about 9 to see this band playing and then at around 12:30 me and alex went to the bar with thibault and had a beer. They told me to try a beer with lemon syrup and it was sooooo good! Like actually amazing. So e got back around 3:30 but slept until about 11:30 and have got the day off today so will probably just eat and sleep. Went to Carrefour with mum and dad so i am well and trul stocked up, and i mean stocked up. In terms of DVDs, Harry Potter, The Hangover, Inglorious Bastards ummmm Gran Torino, and Public Enemies. Thanks, lol. Looking forward to seein al the things youve bought, there must be so much stuff you want to bring back. Finally, wel done for bein strong and deciding to be independnt, that was a really brave decision and Im sure you`re not regretting it. Lots of love as always, will stay in touch, xxxx

Hi Cla. Here we are in a restaurant in Grindelwald in the Swiss Alps. We have been climbing lots and travelling by train to see as much of the area as we can while we are here. We walked for 8hours yesterday - 4 hours to the top of the mountain, 1 along the ridge and then three down - quite a way you might say. Needless to say, we can t walk today - so we took the mountain train to the Top of the Highest peak in Europe - the Jungfrau - AMAZING views across the Swiss Alps - 3500m up. WOW.... We are droppinh Kit at camp tomorrow - she is nervous but happy she is going - and we are picking Jane up on Sunday.
We hope you had a wonderful time in Ha Long Bay - and that you have a safe trip in Laos. Are you taking the boat all the way to Chiang Mai or flying from Laos?? We hope you meet up with someone to travel with. Have fun and enjoy and if you are tired why not go down zo Phuket or Kho Samui and chill for a few days?
We miss you very very much. Will try to blog whenever we can or we will ask Zack to blog for us - Kit may be able to at camp.

All our LOVE darling Chloe. Lots of LOVE.
