In autumn the rutting season begins. The male are fighting each other and make mating calls. In this photo you see two males, one of them making a rutting call.

During the past year, I have shot a chamois story. Most people living in the Vosges Mountains (France), don't even know, that there are chamois living there. Last year I spent every free minute in that particular area. This picture shows a herd of chamois in the Vosges.
