Sunday was laundry day. I got away with not doing it last week, but as I was completely out of clothes, this weekend it was necessary. Laundry here is a definite chore, as everything has to be done by hand. Worst of all, I managed to get a stain on my shorts at the Ethiopian restaurant. But, thankfully, I got it all done. Seeing as it’s now the rainy season, though, and it rains every night, I’m tempted to just throw some soap on things and hang them outside in the nightly torrential downpour. Hey, just an idea.
