Mmmmmm.....I've been neglecting my own blog! Not a good sign, is it ;-) Yes, I've had a few comments from my hungry readers who are missing the comings and goings of this Bethel student, so I thought I'd pop in a quick entry before I drive off to LA tomorrow at 7am (its about 10hrs away). Its mission trip time! Yep, 1500 students driving/flying all over the world to impact the nations. My housemate is off to Russia in a few weeks time. Due to my visa extention, I'm unable to leave the country, so my trip is not quite so exotic. However, I will get another brief glimse at the famous city of Angels. They have a surprise for us on Monday, so perhaps we'll get to visit the Angelus Temple - built by Aimee Semple Mcpherson in the 1920s (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelus_Temple). Mmmmm...perhaps there'll be some anointing to soak up ;-) Back to the mission trip. We're connecting with a church from the Verbo group, which is a spanish speaking congregation. Its the closest I could get to practicing my two years of spanish. They're hungry for the presence of God and to see healings break out, so anything can happen.
Alas, my eyelids are closing as I type. Expect an update on my return...and hopefully more news on my potential internship in the UK later this year...
