Yesterday we went for a walk on Torrance beach, a few minutes drive from home - very nice!. It immediately reminded me of a combination of Seapoint in Cape Town and Nice, France. Seeing the lifeguard vehicles and the lifeguard hut, I half expected David Hasselhoff to come running past, orange lifeguard float in hand ;-)
Ahhhh...its good to spend time with old friends. Mario has an incredible memory. He keeps telling stories of our study days and Southern Life days that I have vague or no recollection of. And of course, there are the classic stories of our orange trip together and when he and nats first started dating many moons ago, and my love for chicken schnitzel and how I was known as the 'soup queen'. Then there's the one about when Wayne and I were caught practicing our dancing lessons in the cafeteria at 6 in the morning....All fond memories of fun times :-)
