of sarees at the end of the day in Aso Palav, one of the popular saree houses
in Gujarat. Even if you don’t wear sarees its worth going shopping just for the
experience. At least 2 salesmen (for some reason they are all men) sit you down
on comfy chairs and bring out each saree one by one. This can go on for hours!
Most will even provide tea, coffee and cold drinks particularly if they see your
energy levels waning and therefore a risk that you may be contemplating not
buying one. Most of the time it works, unless you’re a well seasoned local.
