So after a few weeks in Ahmedabad we traipsed across to Rajasthan for what I thought would be respite from the madness of Ahmedabad. Sadly, it was just another type of madness! We landed in Jaipur, which was bulging with trigger happy Europeans, Middle Easterns not to mention the Chinese and Indians. There are loads of pink palaces and forts in the city, however I suspect the aesthetics are better appreciated off peak; sadly when its blisteringly hot. Regardless, the architecture is beautiful and the views from Amer Fort, breathtaking.
