A rag picker, sifts through rubbish to find items that can be resold. He has four children and a wife to provide for.

Years of living in slum conditions have left this woman worn by days of hard work and uncertainty, slums are illegal dwellings, and temporary, nothing is ever stable, her home, food, clean water. They are only there as long as a blind eye is turned, but they are regularly moved on, usually where they can be hidden from sight.

This young girl is left to care for her younger sibling while her parents are working as rag pickers. Children particularly girls are often the primary care givers of younger children, the elderly and the sick.
