Calabozo, a look of the Venezuelan country life

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

This alligator had a funny story, there I was just walking so impressed for the colors of the flowers and some stones and then I stay still, totally freeze actually, finding myself at a creek with this small alligator taking a sunbath in front of me, the thing is I was not shocked by the presence of the animal but for the amazing textures I saw through the lens, not that I'm a brave jungle walker but I've seen many of this and actually cultivated some eggs on an ecologist travel. So, right after the picture was taken a friend yelled at me, that actually did scared me, he was mad for me getting so close but well what would be of an adventure without a little risk? isn't it?
