All of the materials were crafted by hand with exceptionally intricate detailing. Hours of work goes into each piece in the hope of selling them to make money for their family.

This little child afraid and yet intrigued peered out from behind his mother while I was looking at the local materials. The Sapa ladies need to keep working and often have little babies strapped to their backs.

I was trekking through a small village when I walked past this young lady who was sitting up against an old window with her friend sowing a pillow case. She looked at me with a proud smile and showed me her goods.
