Day 1 - Just arrived in Zagreb, have gone straight to an internet cafe to get the address for the Hostel. Only just got the train this morning. Alarm failed me, made it to the station with only 5 mins to get a ticket. Doors were closing as I got on ! I've decided to, using Zagreb as a base, head down to the Plitvice Lakes National Park for the day tomorrow. Then move onto Slovinia on Friday. Will write more later once settled in the hostel.
Day 3 - Took it easy in Zagreb today, after yesterdays adventures. Did some shopping, bought an extra warm coat & a couple of nice shirts to go out in, sick of being cold & looking like a hobo. Sitting here at hostel searching trains etc for my tip to Slovinia tomorrow. I've been told the caves I want to vivit are closed but I may be able to organise a personal guide ? looking into it ? If not it's straight to lake Bled, which I've been looking forward to since Steve showed me his photos.
