Sapa, Part 3

AUSTRALIA | Wednesday, 17 November 2010 | Views [230]

Just got back from our overnight trek to a village in the mountains. Very foggy today and the path was an absolute mud path in places. Got to walk through the tent of a wedding party today at about 10am this morning. Everyone was sitting down to a full meal and they started cranking up the dance music. I had a bit of a boogie which the women on the table near me found very funny. I was carrying my crossbow the whole time so it was an altogether surreal experience. We have a few hours of free time in Sapa now and then we catch the overnight train back to Hanoi. We have a day to explore Hanoi and then catch the plane back to Sydney on Thursday night, arriving on Friday morning.

At last count, I have around 2200 photos/short videos on my camera. Some absolutely awesome shots. Can't wait to see them on the big tv back home.
