Prayer - A child claspes her hands together in Buddhist prayer. Bhutan is the only country in the world with a Buddhist government and prayer is a part of everyday life.

Local Dance - The locals, as seen in the background, attend the festival in their finest clothes - the brightly coloured silk Kira for the women and the Gho for the men. The dancing at the festivals is enegetic and hypnotic.

A Quiet Moment - The facial expression of this monk dressed up in a festival costume is potrays a moment of inner silence in contrast with the whirlwind of sound and movement around him.
