Friday night update

Well today was quite chilled and but a good day. Got up early and hit the docks in Antibes just down the road. Handed out several cv's but no daywork from it. Seems that alot of the boat had left or were out on charters but still good getting the cv out.

After the dockwalking i went to a couple of agencies, caught up with a lady at an agency that was a contact i was referred to from home which she was nice and helpful and I think if there was a job going that she would hook me up from that referral. few hours over lunch time i spent updating my profile with the agencies online so im nearly all up to date which is good as its pretty time consuming. After that, me and couple other hit the beach, had some throws then went for a snorkel which was a good afternoon. Nice and relaxed. Watched Holland beat Brazil also.

I gave my flatty my CV this morning to give the the chief officer on the boat he has been day working on all week since he is leaving on monday. Got a call during the soccer to start dayworkin (hopefully for the whole week) on monday. 8-5pm 100 euros a day just doing painting and washing down etc. So im pretty stoked and hopefully its a solid weeks work. May be able to save for spain which will be sick! I dont think that anything permanent will come from it but it will be good on my cv as well as some good coin! will work hard and hopefully get a good reference. The boat is called Sirona III and im meeting him on monday morning so should be all go. http://yachts.monacoeye.com/files/oceanfast_sirona_iii.jpg

Its 7.30pm here, still stinking hot. Going to cook some dinner then think we heading down to the beach for some beers and see what happens with the night, Think it might be a good one. Enought for now.....ciao all!
