Bon is happiest when chasing sunshine through desolate karoo plains, camera in hand; awakening to Tsitsikamma forest birdsong; and dancing on trig beacons high above a restless ocean. It is this untamed rawness that keeps her inspired to travel, photograph and thus create a meaningful existence and add value to the world. She has achieved numerous awards for her photography, including Third Place over two consecutive years in The Fuji National Schools Salon. While she has worked for major South African Architectural firms and Art Galleries, she aims to pursue a more bohemian lifestyle filled with greater adventures after currently completing her Masters Degree in Architecture. With matters of sustainability and conscious living playing an important role in her worldview, it is her mission to show the beauty of secretive, commonly overlooked aspects of life, through her photographic practices.
