We both had horrendous hangovers on Monday morning and spent about an hour dying on a park bench. Got accosted by a local tramp/drunk who was "just checking we were OK". When he didn't like the reply we gave him he called us "a pair of cheeky bitches". How rude! Met up with Anja and Mathia who were on our Great Ocean Rd tour and spent the day with them. Then went to a pub to meet Kirsty and Tim ( 2 of Lous mates from Harpnden who live in Melbourne) and who kindly put us up for 2 nights in their house. It was great to relive our youth and teach Tim who is Australian, the finer points of Cockney slang and the proper meaning of crisps and trousers. Strange Aussie language!
We are now in Tasmania until Sat and its cold, wet and windy. Going on a tour of a brewery tomorrow to keep warm and sample the local grog.
