Tripping with Chav and Lou

After a hair raising taxi ride by a bloke who prob used to be a tuk tuk driver in Bangkok we finally arrived at Phuket International Youth Hostel. The road wasnt the only place that had skid marks!!!  Lonely planet claims that the hostel is cockroach free and one of the busiest in Phuket. Bollocks!!! After Charlie gave a cockroach a very terminal sub- arachnoid we discovered there was only 4 other people staying at the hostel and that the hostel was in the middle of nowhere. Tried to find somewhere to have a beer but ended up going into Phuket town. If you think Luton is bad you should try a few days wandering around Phuket town- what a shit hole. Lasted about an hour and then found a very dodgy outdoor restaurant where I dont think the locals have ever seen a westerner. Ate fried rice that we hope didnt include dog and made a hasty retreat back to the hostel. Chatted to the other guests for about 30 mins and then called it a night. We decided to get the Phuk out of there as soon  as possible the next day.
