Dried fish is a Philippine delicacy that's undeniably a favorite among Filipinos. Drying the fish has been a source of livelihood in El Nido, Palawan.

For every fishes that they catch, they divide it equally to each family that are residing in this fishing village. Some of them bring it directly to the local market and some are processing it to make a dried fish.

The procedure in fish drying is not an easy as it may look. It requires a great deal of time and attention. Especially for those who depend on the sun for their drying needs. They keep the fish under the sun for two days before they manually pack it and bring it to the market.
