My Scholarship Entry - Mefou Primate Sanctuary, Cameroon Images from a visit to Mefou primate sanctuary in Cameroon, which is home to over 200 primates rescued from the illegal bushmeat industry.

Thanks to the dedicated work carried out at the sanctuary, orphans such as Nanga, pictured here playing in the rain, have the opportunity to live with their own kind in beautiful forest surroundings. Sadly, the same isn't true for the many thousands of their kind who are estimated to be killed each year to fuel the illegal bushmeat trade.
