I am a 21 year old self-confessed travel addict from Scotland. I have a degree in Marine Zoology and am in the midst of a masters degree in Marine Resource Development and Protection. I am very passionate about wildlife and nature and ever since I can remember I have had a thirst for travel.

The first time I thought about photography was when I was around 10 in Barcelona and there was this incredible full moon filling the sky, my family all just carried on walking back to the hotel and I couldn't believe nobody wanted to capture the moment. That Christmas I got a small digital camera, it went everywhere with me- Australia, Indonesia, Egypt and California.

Last year, I invested in a proper DSLR and my love for capturing special places and moments has grown. I have only ever learnt to take pictures from personal experimentation- I believe that I could learn a lot from an expert. I love being in extreme environments, I am a keen scuba diver and spent 6 weeks in 2011 on a remote island in Indonesia surveying coral reefs and mapping the islands sleeping in mud huts owned by the local people. I would love the opportunity to visit and capture Greenland- a beautiful and unique place.
