The universe is giving me a big hug in the form of my beautiful, wonderful, generous friend/hostess/adventurer Shanelle Morgan. I'm typing from her spare bedroom overlooking the cityscape of Oakland. We caught up last night, after 2 years which seem to have flown by. Today we're going to do a little farmer's marketing, wine shopping and pool sunning. This is me traveling, I'm so lucky. BUT - it is sad to know I've left my family for an extended period. I was thinking of my beautiful nephew and his parents and it's tough. Opening doors, closing windows - give it away it will come back - yes yes very maudlin. Enough typing and sadness, I must embrace the day and see what will unfold. Pictures to come soon.
