A bite of the Apple

The words “Ground Zero” are originally used in the military for the point where an explosion with immense destructive proportions occurs. Now this is a synonym for 2753 people who were killed at this place on 9/11/2001. But the number of destroyed lives is much greater. This photo shows one of the memorials which pays tribute to all the victims, their families but also heroes of this day.
