I started my Career in the field of Social Development as Volunteer, in 1998. I participated with a group of professionals in forming Makran Resource Center in 1998. On the platform of Makran Resource Center we have formed Makran Coordinating Council that is a CBOs Network. I was elected as the first Coordinator of Makran Coordinating Council. I did work for Makran Coordinating Council as Coordinator and remain the General Secretary of Makran Coordinating Council. In the first local Government Election I did participate in the Campaign as focal person / coordinator in District Kech in the campaign known as (CCWR) Citizens Campaign for Women Representation in local Government Election. nnIn 2002 I did join Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) as Coordinator Gender Resource Center. I did establish Gender Resource Center in Turbat and for creating Stakeholders we have formed Kech Gender and Development Network. Along with my responsibility I did work as Coordinator of Kech Gender and Development Network. Kech GAD was a Network of CBOs and Individuals on the theme of Gender and Development. During my job period, I did participate in the different research studies, as focal person in Kech. I did work with the SPO Team on the theme of SPOs Impact changing women in Kech I did supervise the research team, I did work with the team of SPO and USAID conducting a socio Economic Survey in Kech before starting of the ESRA Project in Kech. I supported SAP-PK Team, in conducting a research on the title of Role of Women in free Market Economy. I did participate in imparting Gender and Development Training to the stakeholders to make them educated regarding the concept of Gender and Development. nnIn year 2004 I did join Makran Resource Center as Management Staff, I did remain on various position as communication and advocacy manager and as Team leader. I did gain experiences in advocacy working on emergency project, working with the farmers and artisans, working on the health projects. I did work there till January 2011. This time I am working as freelancer. nnAs freelance I did participate in a social audit as team leader doing the social audit of adult literacy centers of ESRA Project in District Kech and in District Gwadar. The said social audit work we did with Institute of Social Policy Islamabad. nnAs my recent work as freelancer I did with UN Habitat Pakistan. I did work with them on a short term contract of 3 months. I did work as Survey Supervisor for conducting a Socio-Economic Survey in Turbat City. I did work with a team of 5 individuals we did gather secondary and primary data. Along with this I supported the NED Universitys Consultants in making City Profile. nnAs aptitude I did acquire skills in the sector responding emergencies, developing project proposals, understanding the systems of an organization, developing policy procedures, developing promotional and communication materials, designing and launch of awareness campaigns and imparting trainings to CBOs and NGOs. nnI would like to carry out my service as freelancer in the sector of M E, doing Qualitative Research, working as team player in the large research project, Designing Project Proposals, Developing Policy , Reviewing and remaking Organizational policy, imparting training.
After Working with UN Habitat Pakistan in doing a socio economic survey in Kech, two new skills I have learned one is how to develop a city profile and how to develop maps in Google Mapmakers. I am interested to develop my career as a travel writer if I would get a chance I will work in this secter in the rest of my life.
