Cathay Pacific

I like this airline, but the new seats blow. I got to complain. At the start the seats rest slighly forward, about 2-3 degrees from 90. The contour is form shorter people. There is no recline. The seat's bottom moves forward. I hope you are able to have a mental picture. The seat for me as I first sat in it was like being in a rollercoaster just before the first drop. Having the seat forward does this, I hope it's a safety thing. I had to modify the seat to form o my back, I did this by stuffing pillows behind my back. At one point my right leg started with the tingle thing when I tried to sleep.

I arrived in Hong Kong to see the begining of a typhoon. Start the panic, now! 3 hours later we took off and beat the storm's full strength. I had plenty of time in the airport to stake out my sleeping area. Some are thinking that I could stay at Jon's, but the family is in the states visiting parents. Plus, the winds prevented travel from the airport.

I am safe in Thailand. I on to the next problem to conquer is this darn jetlag. Today is a good day and I do not feel sleepy at 2 PM.
