I began to capture people writing on the boards covering the broken windows. Statements of anger, frustration, irony and love.

Following the looting of The Hudson Bay store, windows were boarded up. Spontaneously, the writing began comparing ideals and reality of life in Vancouver.

An old woman reads the writing. Her response is apparent and someone comforts her. I was touched.
