Discovering the world one step at a time

hervey bay

AUSTRALIA | Wednesday, 23 October 2013 | Views [228]

Not a lot to do in hervey bay, but it is world famous forthe humpback whales that migrate here every year.

Yhey like to stick around in the bay for a bit of a holiday before hoing south.

Spent a day on the whalesong boat and saw lots of whales, mainly mums and their babies. We got to see one male and they put the microphone in the water so we could here it singing.

Amazing experience watching the humpback whales dance in the water,  and see the otherside to fraser island.

After meeting Oliver on fraser island we are now travelling together.
