The Doctor writes: So the plan was to have a bit of a break in Budapest and do nothing in our apartment.

But it seems that we would have been forced to do this anyways cause of the rain.

So we just went to the movies and shopped in a shopping centre that could have been one in Oz it was so similar.

When we did go out and see the sights we decided to try out the sight seeing buses that go around town. They were ok cause they take you to the sights and they have a recorded tour guide for sights but in the rain it was pretty ordinary having to wait for the very very late buses in the rain.
Budapest does have a lot of sights to see such as huge monuments and a castle with great views but unfortunately we missed out on the thermal baths which I think would have been pretty cool.
