I want to bear witness to the world unfolding around me and explore and communicate our shared humanity, both who we are and who we have yet to become. My life’s mission is to inspire and engage others to become forces for social and environmental change so that we may all live in a healthier, more peaceful world.

My obsession with photography began when working in distressed communities. I turned to my camera to make sense of the suffering, hoping that my stories would transform the viewer’s perspective on life and move them to action. 

Through photography, I strive to create awareness of the forces that surround, shape and challenge us. Working with Jason in Oman would allow me to become a better storyteller and prepare me for the day-to-day struggles of a photographer working to make a tangible difference in the world. Oman is a country that intrigues me, just like Jason’s photos, and it would be a privilege to share what I capture there with the rest of the world.
