Astronomers wait for their meal outside the observatory kitchen, a long night is ahead of them. They work from sunset to sunrise observing and analyzing stars and galaxies.

This is the door that leads to a walkway that goes around the observatory. On clear days you can see both the sea of Cortes on one side and the Pacific ocean on the other. The Sonora coast is also visible as well as the Colorado River.
