Well we made it to Belfast and arrived to find it was the world champion police and firemans games - boy was Karen excited!! We managed to get a hire car and headed to Armagh. Of course we got a wee bit lost and stopped to check directions and then we realized we were in east Belfast - roll them up! While I was working out how to get the hell out of there Karen was happy snapping! Finally arriving at my cousins house it was great to see everyone as I haven't been back to Ireland in 17 years. It was an early night around midnight as we were rather tired from the travelling. The next day we were out and about in Armagh seeing the sights of St.Patricks cathedral and my Uncle Pats house - this is where my dad was born and grew up. some other cousins dropped by and then we popped out to visit a few more and then another early night at around 1am as we had to get up early the next morning. Friday morning we headed to Belfast for the Titanic Museum which was fantastic. We then drove up the coast to The giants causeway and checked into a lovely b&b not far away. We are off to Bushmills distillery in the morning and then home to Armagh. The cousins have planned a big farewell Saturday night and I am not looking forward to waking up Sunday! It will be good to see everyone though as there is still a few cousins I have not caught up with as yet. Sunday we are driving to Dublin so I will let you know how it all went.
