Barber services available at your nearest pavement: It happens only in India! This barber has tapped into the needs of the poor, who cannot afford to go to a barber shop. He has a make-shift setup on the pavement under a tree with a few basic tools, and he is ready to go. Need to survive can transform even an individual with limited means into a creative entrepreneur.

This priest refused to accept people’s excuses of being too busy to visit temples. He instead made God descend to the streets and become more accessible to the devotees. Without doubt, he has given a new meaning to the belief that “God is omnipresent”, and thereby created a new means of living for himself.

In a country where superstition is often confused with being religious, here is a shop that sells photos of Hindu Gods and other paraphernalia for protection against the “evil eye”. What makes it unique is that it sells protective charms meant specially for vehicles. Now, this is Niche marketing at its very best.
