Gaza has been always on spot news with people dying and clashes but we never saw the daily life of the people out there, we took an example with the fish market as its one of the main sources of life to the people of gaza, fishing is very important and its a daily routine, what's also interesting is what those fishermen face and how do they survive so we did a big project and that's a small part of it.

I’m an Egyptian filmmaker. I graduated with a degree in Mass Communication in 2006. I have been working in the field since 2003 as a Producer, Scriptwriter, Cameraman, & Director on a number of documentary films with Aljazeera TV & BBC and many other organizations.

As team we are Egyptians and currently mant things is happening in our country and it whole area of the middle east, everyone is focusing on the spot news only and neglecting details and inside stories, from festivals to ceremonies, traditions. We believe that our aim is to increase people's awareness, show them how others live and survive and teach them something new through our videos. This scholarship will be a very important strong step in our career to learn how to focus well on creating a story, a valuable one.
