trying to keep up the journal

so finding the money a bit strange to use had a bit of an incident in a shop across the road, buying some stuff and it came to about 153,000. I thought i had put 500,000 down but had actually only given them 5,000 thankfully Sarah was with me to sort out the mess with the money! note to self figure out the currency to avoid this in the future

Saturday had the city tour of hanoi. we had two vietnamese students taking us around the place and explaining the history etc. it was a really good day got to see loads and learnt alot about the place. interesting how different one area to another can be! the bikes are albosulte insane and crossing the road each time is like seriously gambling with your own life! The bus in was very crowded and there is no such thing as a maximum person allowance! seen some really cool places, day was a bit misty and foggy and can imagine everywhere looks even more amazing in the sunshine, have taken some pics and will put some up soon.

Places we visted:

Temple of literature

Old Quarter

Opera House

Catherdral

Ho Chi Min Mauseloum

Ate at Street Vendors

Red bridge

All were very interesting but still lots more to see!
