Juggler, this is the one word I can say about myself which says about me and defines me. As a juggler, I too juggle multiple things but hold one thing at a time. Presently I am completing my masters in anthropology in Hyderabad, India. I also work as an analyst in a private bank .My hobbies I like to watch romantic sitcoms but with a twist (gossip girl, The O.C) , Mythological stories and fantasy movies. I also like to read everything particularly anything with a story. Irrespective of the subject, if there is a story that is my read. My favorite meal is white rice with gutthi vankayi curry, alu bonda and mirchi bajji. I spend my leisure time in front of my laptop or in the library or in the talks with my mother and sister.  

Rs 20 veg biryani with a snack, dry mango pickle with water, 2 parota with curry, Rs 2 Parle-G biscuit, my friend’s lunch boxes like this each of this food items has a story of hunger, hope and the heart of foodie. My work as a catering boy or as a consumer researcher, each tells the story or the stories behind a function or at a food outlet. These stories are not mine alone but all the people I had met. Source of the story and the problem may be something else but there was always food and the foodie involved in it. Bride’s parents’ tension in quality of food, homeless wait for next god’s offering, Morning stories at the Rs 10 breakfast cycle, small talks at the star hotels team lunches. I always like to learn about people and their stories and problems. My masters in anthropology is an attempt to know the people and their stories better so I can provide the best solution I can to reduce their burden. And in my attempt to the understand the reason, I used many mediums faith, physical appearance, entertainment and food. Particularly I place my interest in food and faith, as both are deep rooted in person’s thoughts, actions and feelings. I feel this expedition will give me a chance to learn about the people and more about the stories through their food. Also I will get a chance to add new tastes to my stomach.
