The Ladakhi people with primarily Buddhist origins are the most hardy and peaceful folk who respect and have been at peace with nature and their surroundings since eons. A trip to a Gompa such as this can prove to be quite a spiritually uplifting experience. by: apoorv Views[404] We cherish our conquests: A Sikh jawan hard at work to clear a treacherous mountain pass. The perpetual landslides inundating these mountains keep rendering the roads useless, and man in almost an act of defiance keeps building them back come hell or high water. by: apoorv Views[271]
