Omar and his friend Yankuam read a lifestyle magazine containing Owen Wilson and an article titled “The Hottest 100 Maxim Girls”. Fundecoipa aims to preserve cultural and ecological aspects of the Shuar community through language programs, however this scene illustrates how interconnectedness with other cultures is inevitable.
