The reason:
The people of Tibet live in one of the world’s harshest environments, while enduring strict surveillance on cultural expression. Regardless, they thrive here, showing enormous dedication and passion for their home land. This is seen all over Tibet through the placement of prayer flags everywhere, from riverside railings to mountaintops.
