My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Since I was little I wanted to be a photographer or a scientist. My life lead me in the direction of the second and now I'm working since 3 years in the range of life sciences, but photography never left my mind, and one can say it is hunting me in my everyday life. Wherever I go I can't help to see the world in photographic frames.
Few years ago I met a man who shares my passions and I moved from Poland to Germany. The curiosity to the world sends us travelling, exploring the fascinating wildlife as well as different cultures. Especially we enjoy trekking, which allows us to be close to the nature.
We realised how fragile the environment and the bounds in nature are, so me and my husband try to minimise our impact on the environment. I also try to bring this knowledge to others, and I find photography being a useful tool. I would like to explore the subject of coexistence and influence mankind have on nature and share this via photography. This scholarship would be a great opportunity for me to enhance my skills in telling stories and photography generally. This years trip to Greenland is especially tempting as it is one of my dream destinations.
